A Survey on the National Software Research & Development and Advanced Skills Capabilities and Needs

The deadline for this survey expired on 15 October 2008. The winner of the competition will be anounced before the end of 2008.

The Meraka Institute is undertaking an initiative to build national software development capability in South Africa. The main aims of the project are to:

As a component of the National Software Development Capability initiative, a national software R & D and advanced skills roadmap and plan will be developed through broad consultation with industry, government and academia, whilst taking into consideration international developments in the field.

InnovationLab has been contracted to conduct this survey on behalf of this initiative and would like to invite you to contribute your knowledge and experience in this field.
